A FLINTSHIRE town was mentioned on the latest episode of one of the nation's favourite soaps.
ITV's Coronation Street has been a favourite in many a UK home since it first launched in 1960.
These days, it is watched by around five million viewers per episode.
And, in its latest episode which aired on Monday (October 14), there was a shoutout for one north Wales town.
Flint was mentioned as the place where bad guy Joel Deering had got himself a flat to hide in.

In the latest episode, PC Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) and Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) examined CCTV footage, spotting Joel and his father Gus near a locker.
Later, Gus was interrogated about his missing son's location, where he confessed to hiding money with plans to rent a property.
He told them that the location would be 'in Flint'.
Later on, back at the police station, the town was mentioned once more as the place that the pair were planning to escape to.
The plot of the episode later took a chilling turn when three boys discovered a body floating on a riverbank - believed to be Joel's.
The drama continues with the next Corrie episode which will air tomorrow evening (Wednesday October 16).
