A TEAM OF firefighters operating in the Wrexham area say they have had a 'varied week of calls' which has seen them save people and even animals.
The North Wales Fire and Rescue Service's Wrexham Green Watch team has once again provided its Instagram followers with an update on what the team has been up to.
And it's been a 'busy' past seven days for the team who have dealt with a 'wide range' of incidents throughout the county and beyond.
The team dealt with a crash at Bangor-on-Dee which left a car on its side and saw two rescue pumps attend the scene.
They also helped rescue three people who had been trapped in an EV following a three-vehicle collision.

Among other incidents dealt with were an RTC at Alltami (2 rescue pumps attended), a fire in the open in Caergwrle and a camper van fire at Caia Park.
Furthermore, the team also helped rescue a dog who had been injured following a fall down an embankment.
A statement from the Green Watch team read: "It's been a busy tour for Green Watch, responding to a wide range of incidents in and around the city. From rescues of people to animals, we've dealt with so much more than just fires!
"It's been quite a varied week of calls for the team!"
