A "LONELY" comedian and presenter on tour made friends with Paddington Bear in Chester.
Danish-British comedian and presenter Sandi Toksvig posted a TikTok video with the new Paddington statue on Foregate Street.
Pupils of nearby Grosvenor Park Academy proudly unveiled the statue on Monday afternoon (October 7). It is promoting the forthcoming release of Paddington in Peru, in cinemas from November 8.
Many people have stopped to have photos with Chester's new attraction - including Sandi.
An acclaimed broadcaster, comedian, presenter and writer on British radio, stage and television, Sandi took over from Stephen Fry as host of the BBC television quiz show QI in 2016. She also co-presented The Great British Bake Off for three years.
On Wednesday (October 9), Sandi was at Storyhouse in Chester for a date of her Friends of Dorothy tour. While in the city, she stopped by to see Paddington.
In the TikTok video, she's sat on the bench next to Paddington. She says: "I'm on tour at the moment and it's a bit lonely, it's hard to make friends - but this is nice", as the camera pans to Paddington.
