A FAMILY-owned Wrexham company has continued its championing of regional level sports.

C&M Transport have been sponsoring and supporting local teams for about eight years.

Last year they revealed their dedication to grassroots sports, with a bespoke trailer that has toured the country behind their fleet of refrigerated vehicles, showcasing the range of clubs and young people they have supported.

The transport firm currently sponsors 10 teams, including Wrexham Rugby Club - U14's Boys, Brymbo Lodge YFC Boys, U7's and U14's, Valkyries Girls Rugby and Beechdean Motorsport.

They have now added another wrapped trailer, dedicated to the teams C&M Transport sponsor.

A spokesperson said: "We feel it is important to support local young talent, getting them out and keeping fit instead of being stuck in on computer games."

Wrexham Rugby Club U14's said: "C&M Transport have been our main sponsor for the seventh season now and the support the club has received from them has been hugely appreciated, both on and off the pitch. Local company supporting young talent."

Brymbo Lodge U7's added: "Thanks to C&M Transport for their sponsorship, which meant we could provide the kids with full kits, their ongoing support means a lot to grassroots football, we are proud to have them as our main sponsors."

Rhostyllen U19's said: "Huge thank you to C&M Transport who have supported our team over the last two years, they were kind enough to supply our newly-formed team with a full kit, along with club promotion/adverts on the side of their trailer. Their support has been invaluable to the success of the team and we look forward to that continuing."
