IN THE latest Big Brother episode, fans witnessed a dramatic breakdown from Llangollen's mayoress.
Housemate Sarah Griffiths from Shrewsbury is the Mayoress of Llangollen, long-term partner to Mayor Aled Morris.
After months of preparations by ITV producers, she is the hot topic of this year's Big Brother reality show.
Following last night's episode (ITV2, 9pm), Sarah stirred quite a reaction from fans on social media following a tearful meltdown over a sandwich.
During the episode which introduced the first shopping task of the new series, the 16 housemates were split into two teams, one half being hard-working holiday staff and the others being pampered resort guests.

This meant that some occupants were half-board while the others could eat as and when they chose, all-inclusively.
After declaring that she didn't want an egg mayonnaise sandwich, the 27-year-old vegetarian accidentally took a bite from a sandwich containing meat, after being told it only had cheese on it by Dean Smith.
Hahahaha Sarah got given meat. This is the sort of content I love from Big Brother #BBUK

I think Sarah is slightly annoying but her meltdown in the diary room over the meat sandwich was INCREDIBLY Channel 4 era coded #bbuk

Sarah proceeded to run to the Diary Room shouting "Oh my God, I've eaten that sandwich" before breaking down into tears once again, with her main concern being what others would think about her.

No realising it contained meat, a guilty Dean checked the sandwich and confirmed there had actually been meat inside.
Sarah's partner Aled said: “You can tell by watching that there are quite a few strong characters in there with her. Sarah’s character is a bit fight-or-flight. Everyone is still settling down but I predict there might be a bit of drama developing before too long.”
You can catch Sarah’s progress in the Big Brother House every night of the week on ITV2 at 9pm.
