POLICE have conducted speed checks on two roads in Wrexham amid concerns raised by residents.
North Wales Police's Wrexham City team conducted the checks on Whitegate Road and Connor Crescent, after concerned residents reported that people are speeding.
It follows recent speed checks made in the Bryn Offa area, following similar concerns.
A spokesperson said: "Thank you to those who adhered to the speed limit, although we did stop some very grumpy drivers.
"If you have concerns about speeding in your area, please contact the neighbourhood policing team.
"Details can be found on the North Wales Police Website, or feel free to pop in to the station next to the library."
