THE OWNERS of a Wrexham pharmacy branch have announced their retirement after over 30 years. 

Alexander Daghlian and Katie Daghlian founders of Alexander’s Pharmacies Ltd, have this week announced their retirement following the sale of their much-loved pharmacies.

After long and successful careers in the pharmacy profession, Alexander and Katie are stepping down to enjoy well-earned rest and pursue new personal interests.

Alexander’s Pharmacies Ltd has been a trusted name in the community for over 30 years, providing high-quality pharmacy services with a customer-focused approach.

Over the years the pharmacies grew to become a pillar of local healthcare, known for their personal service, knowledgeable staff, and commitment to the well-being of their communities.

The pair had branches in Caia Park, Penycae, Acrefair and Cefn Mawr. 

After nearly 40 years in the profession Alexander, who is a fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain will continue his committee work with the society.

Alexander said: “It has been an honour to serve our community over the years. The decision to retire was not easy for Katie and myself, but we believe the time has come to pass the baton to new leadership,

“I am incredibly grateful to our loyal customers and dedicated staff for making this journey so rewarding.

"I have greatly appreciated the opportunity to work with and receive support from the pharmacy team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board."
