A FANTASTIC total has been raised for a north Wales autism charity from an unusual 'Deadpool' themed auction.
Following the release of 'Deadpool and Wolverine' this summer, Wrexham AFC's co-chairman and leading star Ryan Reynolds came up with a genius idea to raise some money.
Announcing the 'Lifepool Gym Auction', Ryan donated the gym equipment used during the production of Marvel's Deadpool to raise crucial finds for Your Space.
Never in a million years did we think our charity would get this kind of support. This donation has kept the lights on and means we will be here for the future. Thank you to everyone who placed a big. We love you guys 💚💚 #TeamYourSpace @PMullin7 @DonSaladino @VancityReynolds pic.twitter.com/mPc4brOxmJ

The non-profit autism organisation is a project close to Wrexham AFC striker Paul Mullin, who has been a patron for Your Space since March 2023 following his son, Albie's, diagnosis.
Your Space provides essential and life-changing care and support for young people with autism and their loved ones across Denbighshire, Powys, Shropshire and Flintshire.
It has now been confirmed that the auction raised an outstanding total of £48,175.36
A spokesperson from Your Space said: "At a time when Your Space are struggling to find funds we were overwhelmed to receive these donations by The Deadpool/Lifefitness Auction.
"Without these donations Your Space was at risk of having to close our doors for good.
"This amazing amount will allow us with time to slowly regrow our services, so that we can continue the work we have done over the past 12 years.

Hosting the auction was Life Fitness, Charity Buzz and Maximum Effort in a fantastic collaboration.
Ryan was also generously assisted by fitness expert Don Saladino who guided the intense physical training in preparation for the superhero blockbuster.
