A MAN has been jailed after assaulting an officer and two members of the public following an incident in Flintshire.
Maurice Taylor, 51, of Church Street, Flint, appeared before Wrexham Magistrates Court on Monday (October 7).
He was charged with resisting and assaulting an officer, threatening behaviour with intent to cause fear, criminal damage and assault.
It came after Taylor made threats to a bus driver, who had denied him boarding onto the bus over the weekend of October 5 and 6.
When the officer arrived at the scene, Taylor began swearing and was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly.

During the arrest, Taylor struck the officer to the face and dragged her to the floor, where he ripped her uniform, before spitting in her face.
He also assaulted two members of the public who intervened and assisted the officer as she restrained him.
Taylor was jailed for 18 weeks and ordered to pay £100 in compensation for damaging a cell within a police car.
Sergeant Rhian Hughes said: “Taylor’s actions against the officer who was only carrying out her duties was unacceptable.
“Assaults against emergency workers will not be tolerated and will be dealt with robustly.”
