MOUNTAIN Warehouse has announced it will be relocating from Wrexham's Island Green Retail Park in a matter of months.
David Morris, store manager, has confirmed the outdoors retailer will relocate to a more spacious unit at Plas Coch.
He said: "We are locating to Plas Coch after Christmas to a big new superstore."
Previously located in Eagles Meadow Shopping Centre, the business has spent a decade at Island Green.
It will occupy the former Sports Direct unit, offering customers an improved shopping experience with the new unit having the capacity to hold a wider variety of stock.
A spokesperson from the retailer said: “We can confirm we will be relocating our Wrexham store to a larger unit to offer our customers a wider choice of clothing and equipment, so they can enjoy their next outdoor adventure.”

In the meantime, the Wrexham store is holding an 'everything must go' sale to sell the remaining items before the big move.
The announcement comes a month after the company made a pledge to open more stores across the UK following a boom in demand for outdoor clothing.
Over 20 new stores have opened during the past six-months, including more shops in retail parks.
Further details on the relocation will be confirmed soon.
