POLICE in Flintshire are urging retailers not to sell certain food items to children amid anti-social behaviour-related issues.
North Wales Police's South Flintshire policing team has said it has been visiting local retailers in relation to selling eggs and flour.
A spokesperson said: "There have been a number of incidents recently across Flintshire south where vehicles have been "egged" so we have been out to request that retailers don't sell these items to unaccompanied youngsters.
"All of the shops we spoke to agreed to this and we are very grateful to them for supporting this campaign.
"Of course they may be taking them from home so please keep an eye on your cupboards, too."
