A GRADE II listed building in Llanrwst which houses a riverside café and tearoom has been put up for sale.
Tu Hwnt l'r Bont is available via estate agents St David's Commercial, with a guide price set of £195,000.
St David's says it is an “unbelievable opportunity to acquire a stunning riverside café”, which was built in approximately 1480 as a farmhouse and residential dwelling.
It was later a courthouse for many centuries, and then acquired by the National Trust.
As a tearoom, St David's says it has proved “massively successful”, and has been “drawing tourists from all over the world inside ever since”.
The property includes 33 to 40 inside covers, and 60 outside covers, as well as car park with space for about 20 vehicles.
Viewings of the property are available via appointment only.
Tu Hwnt I'r Bont re-opened in March 2023 following a refurbishment and the introduction of a new menu.
The building is situated on the left bank of the River Conwy across Pont Fawr (“Big Bridge”).
The property currently remains under the ownership of National Trust Cymru, as it has been since 1945.
