WITH Christmas just around the corner, it's never too early to plan ahead and get those dates in your diary with a fantastic line-up of things to do in Flint and Holywell.

This year, the Flint Festive Festival will begin on Thursday, November 28 until December 15, hosting a variety of magical activities and events for all ages.

On November 28, there will be a Christmas light switch-on at 7pm followed by a two-minute firework display. There will also be a market running from 10am onwards and children singing from 5pm.

You can hear joyful carols being sung around Flint's new Christmas tree on December 13 in front of St Mary and St David's Church on Church Street at 7pm. Anyone can join and sing their heart out, followed by some delicious mince pies.

Finally, December 15 is the time for the 'Santa Dash' along the coastal path. Everyone can meet at 10am in the small car park at The Castle. Make sure to wear your best Santa suit and join the fun of the run.
