A MALE has been arrested after he assaulted a police officers and members of the public on a street in Flintshire yesterday (Saturday, October 5).

The male was one of eight to be arrested in the Flintshire North region in the last 24 hours – another saw a male in custody for possession of a bladed article in public.

Police also dealt with an incident at an address where there were concerns that the occupant is being “cuckooed”.

Cuckooing is where vulnerable people have their homes taken over by criminal gangs, who use the property for their criminality.
