A MAN is to be sentenced after inflicting grievous bodily harm on a woman he was prohibited from seeing.
Theo Mertakkas, of Huntsmans Corner in Wrexham, appeared at Mold Crown Court on Friday.
The 28-year-old, who appeared via video link from HMP Berwyn, admitted that he breached a restraining order, in that he attended a location in Wrexham on August 31 and contacted Amy Jones - which he was prohibited from doing by an order made by Wrexham Magistrates Court in February this year.
He further admitted that on that date, he unlawfully inflicted grievous bodily harm upon Amy Jones.

David Birrell, defending, told the court he was not seeking the preparation of a pre-sentence report, as his client had "very recently had the benefit" of one when sentenced for another offence last month.
He suggested to the court that the report prepared for that offence may suffice in terms of sentencing for the new offences.
Judge Rhys Rowlands agreed, telling Mertakkas: "You've pleaded guilty today and that is important.
"It does attract credit."
The defendant will next appear in court on November 7 to be sentenced.
