POLICE IN Flintshire made a 'quite alarming' discovery after initially stopping the driver of a vehicle for going a 'bit too fast'.
Earlier this week, officers in the county pulled the vehicle over to have a 'chat' with the driver.
However, they discovered that he was wanted for some offences already.
To make matters worse, officers also found class A drugs and a 'number of weapons' in the vehicle - including a knife and a meat cleaver.
The driver was subsequently arrested at the scene.

A statement from the NWP Flintshire North team read: "We spotted a vehicle going a bit too fast, they just happened to stop in town so we went for a chat.
"Turned out the driver was wanted for some offences already, they've now been arrested for quite a few more having been found in possession of class a and a number of weapons in the vehicle.
"Oh dear, this one will likely stay with us for breakfast!"
The driver was arrested for the following offences:
- 2 x Disqualified driving (already wanted for a previous)
- 2 x Driving with no insurance (already wanted for a previous)
- 1 x failing to stop (already wanted for a previous)
- 3 x possession of a bladed article
- 1 x possession of an offensive weapon (which was changed to a firearms offence in custody as we believe it's a taser)
- 1 x Possession of Class A.
North Wales Police added that the vehicle was also seized during the incident.
They said: "I know this might be quite alarming but we want to keep you informed of what we're out there doing."
