A PEER SUPPORT group offering men in Deeside a safe space to talk is 'going from strength to strength'.
Andy's Man Club launched its first north Wales branch in Wrexham back in April 2022.
That group this week announced its move to a new home in Eagles Meadow, while it's Flintshire counterpart has been based at Coleg Cambria in Connah's Quay since April of this year.
On a national scale, Andy's Man Club was founded in the aftermath of the suicide of Andy Roberts, a young man from the north east, by his brother-in-law and former rugby star Luke Amber and his mother, Elaine.
The aim of the UK charitable organisation is to get men to open up so that it never reaches the point where they consider taking their own life. It provides group based and one-on-one support.
Starting seven years ago in Halifax, the first group was attended by nine men.

Luke and Elaine were determined to grow the organisation and reach 10 groups in 10 years. Now, over 180 groups later, almost 4,500 men attend every single week.
And the team over in Deeside has confirmed that it's group is currently going from 'strength to strength'.
Earlier this week, they welcomed 31 men - their highest figure yet - to their session.
The team said: "Andy's Man Club Deeside continues to go from strength to strength. Tonight saw a record 31 men from all walks of life, sat shoulder to shoulder, sharing their stories, free from judgement.
"We saw another welcome donation of biscuits from our supporters out in the community, although they had all vanished before a picture could be taken.
"Andy's Man Club is open to any man over the age of 18, and completely free of charge. There's no sign up, and no referral needed. We meet every Monday (apart from bank holidays) and provide free tea, coffee, and biscuits."
