A HOST of famous faces are set to come to Wrexham as part of a Comic Con event next week.
Fans of such events will have become accustomed to the Wales Comic Con held annually at Wrexham University throughout the years.
However, this one will be an entirely separate convention hosted by the 'United Federation of Geeks'.
Organised by David Jones, John Griffiths and Robin Worthingham, the Comic Con will be taking place at Coleg Cambria in Wrexham (Yale Campus) from 9am to 6pm on Saturday, October 12.
Entertainment on the day will include singing sensation Jennah performing songs from the movies and big theatre shows.
Also attending will be members of Basix Wrestling, who will be carrying out demonstrations in the ring.
The event will also feature a cosplay parade and even a masquerade ball.
Paul Chuckle of Chucklevision fame is among the guest list as well as Mike Quinn, Brian Muir, Keith de winter, George Coppen, Caroline Munro, Clem So, David Stone, Nathan Pegler, Tony Slattery and more.
There will be Star Wars talks, Comedy talks and a Q and A with Caroline Munro about her experiences of being in Bond films.
Tickets to the event are available to purchase here and will also be available to buy on the day.
The United Federation of Geeks team said: "This venue is tailor-made for a comic con event and promises superb facilities. Large trader spaces, Q and A halls, an awesome photo-op studio, good access and excellent facilities for disabled guests including a sensory quiet room which will be available to our guests.
