A SHOPLIFTER who breached a suspended sentence within weeks of receiving it is to be dealt with in the Crown Court.
Nikrolay Nikolaev, of no fixed abode, was produced in custody at Wrexham Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
The 33-year-old admitted that on Monday (September 23), he stole alcohol worth £16.15 from Co-op in Lord Street, Wrexham.
Simon Simmons, defending, told the court the offence put his client in breach of a Crown Court suspended sentence imposed just this month for assault.

As such, he invited the Magistrates to commit the matter to the Crown Court for sentence.
He said: "My client is homeless and said he doesn't want to be released."
Mr Simmons asked the court to remand Nikolaev in custody in the intervening period.
The defendant will next appear at Mold Crown Court on October 17 for sentence.
