A MAN who kicked his brother in the face and stole his games console has been sentenced.
Przemyslaw Boyko, of Brook Street in Chester, appeared at Wrexham Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
The 39-year-old had previously admitted offences of theft, criminal damage and assault.
Prosecutor Justin Espie told the court that the victim in respect of all three offences was Grzegor Kozlowski, the defendant's brother.
On February 10 the victim was at his home in Caia Park, where he lives with his mother.
The defendant's girlfriend arrived and was looking for him - and following the victim's conversation with her, Boyko took exception and attended the property a short while later.
He went to his brother's bedroom and told him: "I'll f*** you up," before kicking him to the face and throwing punches.
During the incident, the victim's TV and gaming tower was damaged, and his Xbox was taken.
In a statement, read to the court by Mr Espie, he said Boyko is "unpredictable" and "aggressive."
He added he is always afraid when his brother visits the home.
Euros Jones, defending, told the court: "The reason he did this is that his brother offered his partner drugs, and Mr Boyko is struggling himself with drugs.

"When he heard this, he went round and attacked his brother and stole the items.
"He's subsequently apologised and paid his brother for the console.
"I'm told through mum that there will be a reconciliation between them."
Mr Jones said his client had asked about the possibility of having an alcohol tag as he drinks "at least four cans of beer a day" and that "always leads to either cocaine or cannabis."
"He's intelligent enough to know that if he is on a tag he cant' drink," Mr Jones added, "and drugs won't then follow."
The court imposed an 18 month community order with five rehabilitation activity days, 19 accredited programme sessions, an alcohol treatment requirement and an alcohol abstinence tag for 120 days.
Boyko must pay £85 costs and a £114 victim surcharge.
