ROADWORKS have sparked huge traffic delays in Wrexham this morning (September 24).
Resurfacing work began on the A5156 Llan Y Pwll link road yesterday (September 23).
Despite most of the work taking place overnight during full road closures, the road has been reduced to a single lane during the day.
The lane closure has sparked "chaos" with traffic this morning, with huge delays along the road, backing up to Gresford roundabout and onto the A483.
The road is one of the main links between the A483 and the Wrexham Industrial Estate.
Motorists caught in the delays were quick to share their thoughts.

Nicola Lewis said: "Traffic is chaos this morning."
While Hannah Evans added: "Chaos ain't the word for the traffic today. 40 mins to get from Pandy to Llay all due to this traffic."
The work is expected to last a week.
