WREXHAM'S 'Yellow and Blue' community hub has sadly confirmed it will be closing down.
The non-profit organisation has been a place of comfort, support and reassurance to many across Wrexham, offering a fun and vibrant space, cafe and workshops.
Launched early in 20178with a hub on Henblas Street before relocating to Eagles Meadow Shopping Centre where it has continued to grow and inspire.
Now, founder Peter Humphreys has shared the news on social media that the second hub will close, just four-years after its opening.
In a lengthy, heartfelt post, he said: "I finally feel I can step away, and I’ll be honest, my health is telling me to as well. It’s no secret, I have had a serious health scare this year, although I’m doing well, I’ve got to finally put me, my family and of course my beautiful children first. I hope you all understand this.
"I have put everything into YaB as a venue, when I say everything I mean everything.
"I can hand on heart say 99 percent of the people I have come across in YaB have ended up in a better place because of the project. That in itself is amazing, so amazing - but with that adds a lot of pressure to me.
"I love you all. Thank you for making my dream come true - I needed it at the time more than you’ll ever believe… and I hope YaB helped you smile, at least just once."
The business launched after receiving an incredible £82,000 grant from the Welsh Government Shared Prosperity Fund.

YaB has supported food appeals for the homeless population, hosted fundraisers, and been heavily involved in Wrexham's Andy's Man Club, a mental health support group for those struggling.
Residents have expressed their sadness over the closure announcement. One individual said: "I'm sad to hear this, but glad you and your family will be able to get your lives back. YaB has been amazing for so many people."
"I'm heartbroken. This is the saddest thing ever, you've helped so many", said another.
Someone else responded with: "This place means so much to so many people. The Wrexham community will be worse without you in it."
Peter has confirmed he will share further details regarding the closure soon.
