A NEW family-run world food centre has opened in the heart of Wrexham.
On Friday, September 13 the 'Wrexham World Food Centre' opened its doors to the public, brought to customers by owners Maximus and Masood Amiri.
The family business, occupying the former Scottish Bank building at 13 Lord Street, offers an extensive variety of products from different cuisines, and features a butchers counter selling locally-sourced Welsh lamb and other produce.
Masood said: "It has been opened especially for the people of Wrexham because it's becoming a much bigger city and this is what we want to offer."
Mayor of Wrexham Beryl Blackmore attended the opening and received a tour.
