A NEW 'completely egg-free' cake business is opening its doors in Wrexham city centre.
'Egg Free Cake Box' launched with just one small store in 2008 based in east London.
Sixteen-years-later and there are over 230 locations with "many more" branches to come.
Wrexham branch manager Sivajenani (Jena) Aravinthan from Cheshire has confirmed the shop will open to the public on October 3.
It's mission is to provide the UK market with a new concept. All products are 100% egg free, a unusual method that certainly does not alter the taste and quality of the bakes, assures owner Sukh Chamdal who has a strict lactose and vegetarian diet.
This way, customers suffering with egg allergies who often miss out on such treats can enjoy the same light and fluffy sponges as everyone else.

The business offers a huge variety of options including; customised celebration cakes, cheesecakes, cupcakes and vintage cakes, not to mention every flavour, shape and size imaginable.
The company envisions opening between two and three new stores per-month nationally moving forward, with its latest branch opening up on Farndon Street in Wrexham.
Chamdal admits he knew the concept would be a success early on, and is delighted to be expanding once again.
