A TOWN'S celebratory cat who ventures into pubs and sleeps in hotel rooms now has his own Facebook page documenting his travels.
People living in and visiting Llangollen will have grown accustomed to Raymond, the ginger cat, making his presence known in the town centre.
The three-year-old friendly feeline is one of the town's great characters - often seen sneaking into shops, or being barred from pubs due to allergic customers.
dedicated Facebook page to keep people up to date on his adventures.
His owner, Rebecca Palombella, has now set up aShe moved to the town centre 16 months ago, and Raymond has seized his opportunity to explore new places and get as much fuss as possible.
"It was a worry at first with the crossing of the roads and things but there’s not much I can do, he would be a miserable house cat," Rebecca said.
"We find it so funny now that he’s a little local celeb. When he does bother to grace us with his presence for a few hours he gets lots of attention then buggers off again. He will wander home late at night and leave early morning, he has plenty of places to go and explore."
Talking about some of the mischief Raymond gets up to, Rebecca said: "He takes naps in the Hand Hotel bedrooms - much to their dismay. He was kicked out three times the other day.
"Everyone knows him, all I have to say is I have a ginger cat who likes visiting the shops and and they know it’s Raymond.
"He was in the display window of Edinburgh Woollen Mill when they locked up last week."
