WREXHAM AFC star Paul Mullin has brushed off accusations that he tried to bite a Birmingham City player on the leg.
The Reds fell to their first league defeat of the season in their EFL League One clash with the Blues on Monday (September 16), with the latter winning 3-1.
Wrexham found themselves ahead just minutes into the tie through Jack Marriott, but a brace from Jay Stansfield and a Tomoki Iwata goal saw Birmingham fight back to win.
The eyes of the world had been on the match, with Wrexham's Hollywood star Rob McElhenney, Birmingham's NFL legend Tom Brady and even football royalty David Beckham watching on from the stands at St Andrew's.
However, it was an off-the-ball incident that many on social media were talking about after the final whistle had blown.

Moments before Krystian Bielik was sent off for Birmingham, Mullin was involved in a clash with Blues defender Alec Cochrane, with the pair falling to the floor.
Footage shows that the striker appeared to consider taking a bite out of his opponent's leg, but then decided against it.
A mass brawl then ensued between the two sides in what was a fiery night in Birmingham.
The Wrexham star has since taken to social media to give his thoughts on the matter.
He said: "I know what it looks like.. but it didn’t happen. Although you can tell his leg was thinking about attacking my mouth."
Wrexham co-chairman Ryan Reynolds saw the funny side of the incident too. He posted two laughing emojis and said: "#Welshpool" - in reference to the character Mullin played in the Deadpool and Wolverine film.
