THE TEAM who look after a Flintshire cemetery have been praised for the 'amazing job' they do in keeping the site tidy for visitors to come and pay their respects.
Recently, the Leader has reported on a number of cemeteries that have either been vandalised or, people feel, have been left to become untidy.
In May, concerns were raised by residents over an 'appalling' lack of maintenance at New Brighton Cemetery in Bagillt.
Then, in August, Rhos Cemetery in Wrexham was the subject of vandalism as a grave was damaged.
But, over in Mold, the concerning trend has been brought to a halt thanks to a dedicated team of staff.

Mold Town Council took to social media this week to share pictures of the town's cemetery and the 'amazing' work carried out by the team on site.
They said: "Our Mold Cemetery team does an amazing job, thanks to their hard work and dedication, Mold Cemetery is always well kept and maintained; a place where people can visit and remember their loved ones who have passed."
Several grateful residents agreed, adding that the site looked 'lovely' and 'immaculate'.
