RESURFACING work is set to take place on a main road in Wrexham starting next week.
Gresford East and West Councillor Jeremy Kent announced on social media that work was set to start on resurfacing a section of the Llan-Y-Pwll link road on September 23.
The work, that will a close section of the A5156's southbound carriageway, is set to last for a week.
The majority of work will take place in the evenings, during which case the road will be closed and diversions will be in place.

A lane closure will be in place during the days.
Cllr Kent said: "We have the resurfacing of a section of the A5156 Llan-Y-Pwll due to commence on the week 23rd September 2024 with an estimate duration of one week.
"The works are due to be undertaken during a night time closure and with a lane closure during the day."
