Speaking to the Leader, Saffron said: "We thought it would be the perfect opportunity to take our family business over the border to Chester.
"We love offering, what we believe, are quality homemade products made by our family using the same recipes and techniques we’ve used for over 100 years.
"It's nice to see more and more people opening and taking back hold of what towns and cities such as Chester were once like, and Chester feels like it could become a real small trade community again which would be amazing and we’d love to be a part of that!"
