The co-chairman confirmed his attendance at last night's Emmy Awards, hosted in Los Angeles's Peacock Theatre.
During an interview, he teased that he'd be joined by none other than David Beckham, professional retired English footballer.
"Everything you touch turns to gold, including your soccer team", the interviewer said.
McElhenney replied: "After the Emmy's I'm hopping on a plane to Birmingham, England, to watch Wrexham play.
"I believe Mr David Beckham will be there as well. We'll just have a good time."
