A WREXHAM gym was evacuated after firefighters were called to a "small chemical spillage".
North Walex Fire and Rescue Service responded to the incident at Total Fitness, on Stansty Road, on Wednesday afternoon.
Staff and public were evacuated as a precaution, and no one was hurt in the incident. The gym has now reopened.
A NWFRS spokesperson said: "We were called to a commercial property on Stansky Road, Wrexham at 1.37pm due to reports of a small chemical spillage.
"Staff and public were evacuated as a precaution - no casualties were reported."

A Total Fitness spokesperson said: “At 1.30 pm on September 11, a minor issue occurred with the pool dosing unit in the enclosed plant room at Total Fitness Wrexham, which was quickly managed.
"However, out of an abundance of caution, we temporarily evacuated the premises while emergency services conducted a swift and thorough check, ensuring the safety of all members.
“The club resumed normal operations at 2.15 pm, although the immediate area surrounding the plant room inclusive of the pool hall remained closed for venting as a precautionary measure for the rest of the day.
"We’re sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. The health and safety of our staff and members is of upmost importance, we appreciate the prompt support of the emergency services in confirming our facilities were safe to reopen.”
