Many people were dealt with Wrexham Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

They include:

Jack Sherlock, aged 32 and of Abbey View Caravan Park in Tyn y Morfa, Gwespyr,  was sentenced for driving without due care and attention in Mold, failing tstop after a road accident and failing to report a road accident. He was fined £415 and handed six penalty points. The court ordered the defendant to pay £650 costs, as well as a £166 victim surcharge.

Nathan Heywood, aged 41 and of no fixed abode, was sentenced for theft from a motor vehicle, common assault against an emergency worker and three offences of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour - at Wrexham Maelor Hospital, Regent Street and Town Hill in Wrexham. He received a 12 month community order with up to 20 days of rehabilitation activity and three months of drug rehabilitation. He must pay compensation of £10 and costs of £400.

Luke Ridgeway-Mathews, aged 25 and of Maes Madoc in Acrefair, was sentenced for drug driving and driving whilst banned. The court jailed him for 18 weeks and banned him from driving for 12 months.

Geoffrey Jones, aged 39 and of Montgomery Road in Wrexham, was sentenced for theft from a shop. He received a £100 fine and must pay £80.25 in compensation, as well as £85 costs.

Andrew Roberts, aged 52 and of Galaxy Grove in Brynteg, was sentenced for two offences of theft from shop. He received a four week custodial sentence, but it was suspended for a year. The defendant must pay £6.25 compensation and £85 costs.
