ROSSETT Pharmacy has confirmed an opening date for the new and improved premises after months of planning.
Following a refurbishment, the pharmacy situated on Chester Road in Rossett, Wrexham, is moving to a bigger unit just across the road on the same street.
The team is delighted to announce the new pharmacy will open on Monday, September 16 at 9am. The opening hours will remain Monday to Friday, 9am until 5.30pm. Saturday 9am until 1pm.
Until Saturday prescriptions can be collected as usual from the old shop, there will be no cease in service during the changeover in terms of prescriptions.
There understandably will be no produce available for a day or two as the old shop is merged into the new. The team have made sure painkillers and children's medication remain on sale.
A community council spokesperson has said customer patience is very much appreciated at this time.
"The shop is looking fantastic and will be a great asset to the village as it’s always been.
"Once the heavy lifting and stocking up is complete they will press release a list of new and expanded services that will be on offer and in due course offer fresh juices and coffee and lunch snacks, this will follow on from the main opening."

We wish them all the very best of luck and thank them for their continued service to the village.
On Rightmove, the current building is listed for £150,000. It reads: "Centrally located in the very centre of the affluent village of Rossett, this shop unit has been successfully operating as a village Pharmacy for several years.
"The primary motivation for the move is for a larger unit to offer the provision of consultation rooms.
"This unit is ideally located and configured to be a versatile and a flexible space for a range of different commercial requirements and currently possess an E planning classification."
