A "MAGNIFICENT" venue in Wrexham is set to host its first Wedding Showcase later this month.
Marchwiel Hall is to hold the event on Sunday, September 29 from1pm until 4pm.
Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in "a world of sophistication and luxury" and take the opportunity to explore the Hall’s beautiful spaces inside and out and meet the trusted, handpicked local suppliers.
The "magnificent" Marchwiel Hall is nestled in the North Wales countryside bordering Cheshire and Shropshire, surrounded by private woodland, manicured gardens and its own cricket ground.
Marchwiel Hall is an opulent and historic family home, with a team dedicated to deliver special events.
The Hall stands as a testament to Georgian elegance, nestled on a 165-acre estate that includes established parkland, mature woodland, and a tranquil 3-acre lake. The estate’s landscaped gardens, stables, and two picturesque gamekeepers' cottages, along with a charming walled garden and its famous cricket pitch, provide an idyllic backdrop for any occasion.
The white exterior is adorned with classical architectural elements, including columns supporting a pediment above the central entrance. Large windows with decorative moldings add elegance to the facade, while chimneys and rooftop balustrades contribute to its stately appearance thus exuding a timeless charm and sophistication.

It boasts a stunning ballroom which can seat 80 guests for dinner and hold up to a maximum of 120 evening guests. There is also a morning room, which is an "ideal choice" for a smaller ceremony and can seat up to 50 guests.
The estate’s landscaped grounds, can host the option of a marquee for up to 200 guests, depending on design. Also within the pretty grounds, is a lovely terrace and sun bar, ideal options for a drinks reception.
With regards to accommodation, the estate boasts two braising games keepers cottages that are newly refurbished. The two cottages offer three bedrooms, with open plan kitchen dining areas, separate comfortable lounge, large gardens and patio areas. Accommodation within the hall itself, is set to open during 2025.
