THIS week marks a nationwide celebration of lifelong learning across Wales.
Adult Learners Week 2024 (September 9-15) is organised by the Learning and Work Institute, in partnership with Careers Wales and supported by the Welsh Government. The week-long campaign aims to inspire adults of all ages to embrace education and take the first steps toward new skills, qualifications, and career opportunities.
Adult Learners Week will highlight the transformative impact of adult education through a series of events, workshops, and resources that will be available both online and in-person across Wales. With a focus on inclusivity, the week aims to remove barriers to learning and encourage individuals, regardless of their background or previous educational experience, to explore new opportunities.
