A MAN has received points and a fine after he was clocked exceeding the limit by average speed cameras.
Martin Ganley, of Clem Attlee Court in Lillie Road, London, appeared at Mold Magistrates Court on Monday morning.
The 59-year-old admitted that on November 16 last year, on the A494 between Deeside Industrial Park and Garden City, he exceeded a 50mph speed limit.
Prosecutor Alan Williams told the court that just before 2am on the day in question, Ganley was clocked by average speed cameras as he drove a BMW motor vehicle.
His average speed was calculated as 59pmh.

Representing himself at the hearing, Ganley made brief representations, including to confirm he earned £500 per week.
He agreed with the prosecution facts as set out by Mr Williams.
The court was asked to take into account his guilty plea and apply credit as appropriate, in order to reduce the sentence he was to receive.
Ganley received a fine of £166 and must pay a £66 victim surcharge, as well as £110 costs.
The court handed down three penalty points for the offence.
