WREXHAM AFC co-chairman Rob McElhenney has praised the club's manager following an impressive finding.

Sky Bet has revealed the Red Dragons have accumulated more points since the start of the 2022/23 season than any other club in England's top five leagues.

That's a total of 212 points; 111 in the 2022/23 National League, 88 in League Two and 13 so far in the 2024/25 EFL League One season.

On social media, Rob reacted to the news, praising manager Phil Parkinson who has guided the team from the National League to EFL League One since 2021.

Rob said: "And it's all because of this man. In Phil we trust."

The club has achieved back-to-back promotions over the past two seasons, an extraordinary accomplishment since the international takeover by Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds in 2020.

Following their victorious 3-0 derby match with Shrewsbury Town (September 7) at the Stok Cae Ras, Wrexham AFC sits comfortably at the top of the league.
