A COMMUNITY fun day returns to Wrexham this month, including a popular duck race.

Nant Mill Community Trust and Groundwork North Wales are hosting the return of their fun day and duck race on Saturday, September 14, from noon.

The day promises to be a fun-filled family event, with bushcraft and nature, activities, name the teddy competition, face painting and much more.

Duck racing is set to start from 1.30pm, with ducks priced at £1 (cash only on the day). There will be several duck race heats, with the winners from each taking to the water for one final race to crown an overall winner.
