THE FIRST Minister of Wales was out and about talking to residents in Wrexham and Flintshire on Monday (September 2).
New First Minister, Eluned Morgan, was continuing her 'listening tour of Wales' in Wrexham and Mold as she took to the streets to speak to members of the public.
Ms Morgan arrived at Ty Pawb to speak to vendors and residents, alongside Wrexham MS Lesley Griffiths, on what they felt were the key issues that need addressing in Welsh Government.
The First Minister said: "I've been in Wrexham as part of a listening tour around Wales.
"Because I didn't go through a normal process of being elected through the Labour party with a manifesto of what I'm going to do, I thought I'd take the opportunity to listen to the public and to get them to help set my priorities.
"That's what I'm doing, I'm coming out and asking what are their priorities and what do they want us to do in Government."
When asked what sort of response she'd had from members of the public, there were two main focuses that the First Minister highlighted.
Ms Morgan added: "It's been quite varied but there is some consistency in terms of some of the messaging so a lot of concern about the NHS and we need to do better with the NHS.
"Then we've got lots of issues with the 20mph which is still rumbling on, lots of concern about that, but then there's been a lot of welcome for things like free school meals so we're getting quite a lot of positives as well."

The First Minister also discussed the "buzz" in Wrexham amid the new interest in the city following Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's takeover of the football club.
She added: "I think it's amazing, Wrexham has absolutely been put on the map in recent years and I get a real sense that there's a buzz in the city and that there's a real sense of hope and it hasn't always been like that.
"I think there's an opportunity for the city to bounce off that and already I think it's starting to make a difference."
