Residents with mental health issues at Priory's Fairhome care home in Wrexham are considered 'happy' and 'supported' according to the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) regulator.
Following an impromptu visit in August 2024, a freshly released report reveals that the residents of the home, which looks after 23 individuals with mental health needs, are satisfied, safe and are 'supported' to meet their personal objectives.
The city centre residence takes care of people with a range of conditions including acquired brain injuries, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety and depression.
The ultimate goal is to guide residents through rehabilitation so they are able to reassimilate into the wider community.
Inspectors from CIW said: "People are very happy with the care and support provided at Fairhome.
"People spoke positively about the service and could not think of any ways the service could improve.
"People told us they feel safe at the service and said all staff are friendly and approachable."
