FILMING for an upcoming teen drama production took place on a beach in Prestatyn.
Production crews were spotted near the Beaches Hotel in Prestatyn, as they filmed sequences for S4C's new teen drama, Hafiach.
Produced by Vox Pictures, the series is described as a "gripping teen thriller with a twist", with filming also taking place in Rhyl and Towyn.
Set to be broadcast in the new year, filming has taken place in the region over the last three months.
A spokesperson for S4C said: "They have been filming in the Rhyl, Towyn and Prestatyn area over the last three months, using local houses, businesses and streets as locations, and have had a fantastic welcome during a very happy filming period.
"The production company have worked with local schools to find new, young faces to be part of the cast, and have used a number of pupils from local schools as supporting actors too.
"The production has brought 11 new job opportunities in the area for local traineeships."
