LEADING fashion footwear retailer schuh is opening a new store at Broughton today (30th August).
Launching with a bang, the footwear retailer is hosting an opening event from 10am to 8pm, complete with a DJ to dial up the party atmosphere.
And the first 200 customers through the doors receive a bespoke goodie bag, including branded merch and sweet treats.
Alan Pruden-Barker, centre manager at Broughton, said: “We’re hugely excited to welcome yet another popular brand to the centre as we continue to expand our fashion offering for shoppers.
“We know the store will go down well with visitors – whether you’re shopping for the latest trends or everyday favourites – and we’re looking forward to joining the celebrations on opening day.”
Located next to WH Smith, the new 5,200 square foot store will stock the retailer's best-selling ladies, mens and kids from over 80 brands, alongside schuh's exclusive own-label range.
Neil Partington, schuh Chief Retail Officer, said: “We’re delighted to expand our retail park portfolio to Broughton Park. This latest opening meets the demand for ‘destination shopping’ and amplifies our commitment to our customers’ wants and needs.
“From our single shoe initiative for disabled customers to our Sell Your Soles takeback scheme and 365-day return policy, our focus is always on purpose, product, and people to create the best shopping experience for our customers.”

With a laser focus on Gen Z customers, schuh’s latest design concept is a flexible and vibrant canvas for brands that captures the individualism of the retailer.
As schuh have moved towards the increased use of mobile payment devices and the removal of fixed tills in many stores, payment in this store will be via mobile transactions at the point of sale, creating a frictionless customer experience.
Customers who visit schuh stores can join THE SCHUH CLUB loyalty scheme to earn points towards ‘money off rewards’ and be the first to know about offers and competitions.
