AN annual walk takes place next month, to raise awareness of services and support for dementia.
Each year, Dementia Friendly Wrexham put on a fundraising walk to raise awareness and to help support those who are living with dementia.
People can join the team at National Trust Erddig on Sunday, September 8, to take in this year's Wrexham Walk for Dementia.

The team from Dementia Friendly Wrexham will be on hand from 10.30am to welcome people to the walk, and to offer information about dementia-friendly services and activities in Wrexham.
The event is open to all and dogs are allowed on the walk but must be kept on a lead in certain areas.

The need for social activities for older adults has become increasingly important and have numerous benefits for people who are living with dementia.
Dementia Friendly Wrexham is a small community group with the aim of creating a safe environment for those who are living with, or affected by dementia in the area.
