WREXHAM'S Nightingale House Hospice has raised a fantastic total by selling a stunning item on eBay.
An Elkington & Co Solid Silver Tea Set has sold for over £1,000 on the official Nightingale House Hospice eBay account - a wonderful total which will go towards improving support for patients and their families.
The hospice, which provides specialist palliatitve care services, runs completely free-of-charge to patients across Wrexham, Flintshire and East Denbighshire.
It costs £3,140,383 to keep it running with the team relying heavily on charitable donations.
Over 13,000 items have now been sold on the popular buy and sell website.

Katie Roberts, head of retail, said: "This stunning item has raised an incredible amount of money for patient care at Nightingale House Hospice. It is the highest amount we have received from one listing on our eBay shop.

"The popularity of our eBay shop, as well as our high street stores is growing massively and we would like to thank our supporters and those who kindly donate items for sale.

There are over 2,000 items available to bid for on the eBay website with all profits going to an excellent cause.
