A WREXHAM pub is set to welcome two new landladies next month as they embrace a new chapter.
Wives and now business partners Lisa and Laura Groom are delighted to be taking over the Greyhouse Inn, located on Holt Road in Rhosnesni, from September 17.
Owned by Marston's, the pub will be turned into an inclusive venue that appeals to the wider community, offering a range of live entertainment that will cater for everyone.
Lisa said: "This will be our first time running a business together, but between us we have experience running a bar and running a kitchen.
"We currently have no plans to refurbish the place, but we do have a few things we'd love to do to upgrade it."
The first musician is already lined up for September 20 for a soul Motown and Disco night, says Lisa.
"We also intend to start quiz nights, bingo, poker and also looking to start a pool and darts team."

The pair plan to start serving food including all the pub favourites as soon as possible, with updates to follow. The premises also has a room to hire which they can cater for, as well as using it to accommodate external groups needing space for activities.
The pub will remain dog friendly and children will be welcome until 8pm.
Lisa and Laura invite new customers and the much-loved regulars to celebrate their new venture and a new chapter at the Greyhound Inn with them in a few weeks.
