Transport for Wales trains have been cancelled in North Wales and Wirral this morning due to disruption on the lines (Saturday, August 24).
The train operator reports there is a fallen tree blocking the line at Neston, while there is also a broken down freight train in the Penyffordd area.
That has resulted in "severe disruption" to the Wrexham-Bidston line. Train services are expected to be disrupted, delayed or cancelled until 3pm.
In the meantime, tickets will be accepted on Keanes Coaches between Wrexham and Bidston in both directions. The coaches will run hourly.
TfW added: "We apologise for the disruption to your journey."
Anyone who has experienced delays or a cancellation as a result can contact TfW's customer relations team at customer.relations@tfwrail.wales or pick up a form from their nearest ticket office.
