A 39-year-old man has been jailed for driving whilst being disqualified.
Police were called to the Esso garage in Ruabon, Wrexham, at 7.50am yesterday Tuesday, August 20, following a commotion involving Steven Warburton, of Lon yr Orsaf, Mold.
When officers arrived, checks revealed he was disqualified from driving in June for a total of 30 months.
Warburton was arrested and subsequently charged and remanded into custody to appear before Wrexham Magistrates Court later that morning.
He admitted a charge of driving whilst being disqualified and driving with no insurance.
The defendant had committed the offences whilst serving a suspended prison sentence after refusing to provide a breath test when stopped by police previously and assaulting an emergency worker.

Warburton was jailed for 42 weeks, banned from driving for three years and five months and fined £239.
PC Matt Bagnall said: “Warburton clearly has no regard for the authorities, or the safety of other road users, by ignoring his previous disqualifications.
“Having your licence taken from you means that the standard of your driving has put yourself and other road users at risk - his actions yesterday were selfish and irresponsible.
“I welcome the sentence and I hope some time in prison allows him to reflect on his actions.”
