Abbot Street in Wrexham City Centre is set for an eight-week closure from Saturday, August 24.
The Wrexham County Borough Council's temporary traffic prohibition order affects Abbot Street in an easterly direction for 100 meters from its junction with Vicarage Hill to its junction with Town Hill.
The alternative route for vehicles during the closure will be via Upper Town Hill, High Street, Yorke Street, Eagles Meadow, Salop Road, St Giles Way, Brooke Street and Pentre Felin.
