A MUCH-LOVED Wrexham band are set to release a new single next week.
Over the last two years in particular, Declan Swans have risen to worldwide fame.
The band - made up of Mike Revill, Ben Jones, Mark Jones and Michael Hett - have been performing for over 20 years.
But, it was their appearance on the Welcome to Wrexham documentary that really shot them to new heights and earned them new fans around the world.
Their 'Always Sunny In Wrexham' hit is now played at the Racecourse before every Wrexham match and has become the catchy tune sung by all in the town.
Now, the band has announced that it is set to release their new song 'Lost in the Dark "Gresford 1934"' next Monday (August 26).

The song is a tribute to those that lost their lives at the Gresford Colliery disaster. On September 22, 1934, an explosion occurred in the mine which ended up killing 266 men.
The band said on social media: "Our new tune!
"LOST IN THE DARK “Gresford 1934”. Out Monday 26th of August 2024 on all streaming platforms.
"A tribute to the miners from a miner. A poignant reminder of 266 men who lost their lives, at the Gresford colliery disaster 90 years ago."
