A TRIO of friends will embark of a midnight walk this weekend, in aid of a Wrexham charity.
On Friday, Chris Leaney, Gareth Parker and Luke Tanner will set out from Llangollen Bridge at midnight, to the Wrexham office of DASU.
DASU, the Domestic Abuse Safety Unit, is for anyone who has experienced domestic abuse. They believe no one should be discriminated against by reason of their race, religion, beliefs, nationality, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, age, disability, marriage and civil partnerships, pregnancy or maternity.

They provide professional coordinated and targeted interventions to people experiencing domestic abuse across Wrexham, Flintshire, Conwy and Denbighshire.
The walking trio are all members of Wrexham Caritas Club, which supports charities in the city by arranging events to raise funds and awareness of good causes.
They have set themselves a target of £500 for DASU, but spreading the word about the service is a main hope from the challenge.

Chris, 43, from Wrexham, said: "We have been shocked how many people do not know of DASU's existence.
"I know people who have been affected by domestic abuse, especially since covid."
